ABOUT US

Hi! We’re Chelsey, Dylan, Amayá, Mike & Aly — the family behind Bored Bugs.

Bored Bugs was lovingly created by Hayley, a fellow Aussie mum who built this business with heart and purpose, designing screen-free, sensory-rich activities for little ones and the parents who need a breather.

In 2025, our family had the privilege of taking over Bored Bugs, continuing Hayley’s legacy with the same care and creativity. With Amayá as our daily inspiration and three generations involved, each personalised busy book and wooden activity board is still lovingly hand-assembled from our family home in Queensland.

Everything we make is designed to encourage calm, focus, and joyful play, whether you’re on the road, at an appointment, or just trying to drink your coffee while it’s still hot.
